Last September, we released this design as our special edition mag for the month. It was wildly popular and sold out quick, and we decided to bring it back in super limited quantities for this September. On September 11, 2001 the world was changed forever. The World Trade Center, located in Lower Manhattan, New York City, was targeted by terrorists who hijacked two commercial airliners and flew them into the Twin Towers, causing both towers to collapse. This tragic event resulted in the deaths of nearly 3,000 people.

In the midst of the chaos and devastation that followed the attacks, a group of first responders, including firefighters, police officers, and other emergency personnel, came together to perform acts of heroism and resilience. Among these acts was the raising of the American flag amidst the rubble and wreckage of the World Trade Center site.

The most famous photograph capturing this moment was taken by Thomas E. Franklin, a photographer for The Record, a New Jersey newspaper. His image, which quickly became iconic, depicted three firefighters - George Johnson, Dan McWilliams, and Billy Eisengrein - raising the American flag on a makeshift flagpole amid the debris of the collapsed buildings. The flag was reportedly found in the aftermath and provided a symbol of hope and resilience during a time of great tragedy.

The flag-raising moment has been commemorated and remembered in various ways, including through memorials, documentaries, and artistic representations. It serves as a reminder of the courage and sacrifice displayed by first responders and the American spirit during one of the darkest chapters in the nation's history.
