SPR 01: The Amend2 Special Purpose Rifle Series Begins
SPR 01 kicks off our new SPR series — seven special purpose rifle builds, each one spec'd out with gear we trust. This one starts with American Defense Manufacturing's UIC MOD-2 18", a purpose-built long-range platform, then gets dressed out with glass, mounts, and support gear from Reptilia, Athlon, Aziak, Inforce, and our own Amend2 parts.
The Build
Inforce ARC 650 LR-M Modular WML
A modular weapon light built for fast, reliable target ID in low light. Throws 1,400 lumens / 90,000 candela out to 600 meters from a 6061-T6 hard-anodized body, running on a rechargeable 18650 (or two CR123As) for 2h45m of runtime. IPX8 waterproof, MIL-STD-810H rated, Scout-pattern mount for tool-free attachment to the handguard.

Reptilia 15" ARCA Handguard
A full-length M-LOK handguard machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with a continuous Arca-Swiss rail built into the bottom — so the rifle mounts straight to a tripod without an adapter plate. Reptilia's turnbuckle system clamps directly to the barrel nut for a rock-solid fit, with a 33.5mm inner diameter that free-floats the barrel clean.

Athlon Ares ETR Gen 2 4.5-30x56
A first-focal-plane scope built around a 34mm tube and UHD glass for edge-to-edge clarity at distance. The illuminated APRS12 reticle holds zero through Athlon's Precision Zero Stop, with 0.25 MOA clicks and locking turrets (pull to dial, push to lock) so settings don't walk under recoil.

Aziak Frontcountry Tripod
A stable glassing/support rest for hunters staging closer to the truck rather than packing for a multi-day backcountry hunt. Carbon-tube legs collapse to 22" and range 4"–67" depending on which of two interchangeable center columns is mounted, holding up to 35 lb on a standard 3/8-16 or 1/4-20 head mount.

American Defense Mfg UIC MOD-2 18"
The foundation of the build — ADM's Long Range Carbine platform. An 18" Criterion Hybrid Contour barrel (stainless, nitride-finished, 1:8 twist) chambered in .223 Wylde runs both .223 Rem and 5.56 NATO clean. Behind it: a Geissele G2S trigger, 7075 billet upper/lower, fully ambi controls, Talon safety selector, and a SureFire Warcomp muzzle device.

Amend2 Straight 20rd 5.56/.300 BLK Magazine
Feeding the rifle: our own straight-body 20-rounder, chambered for 5.56 NATO, .223 Rem, and .300 BLK. On an SPR build, the 20rd's shorter profile is the point, not a compromise — it doesn't hang below the mag well far enough to lift your prone position off the deck or snag on a barricade edge the way a 30-rounder can, which matters when the rifle's job is precision, not volume of fire. Fiberglass-reinforced nylon construction, smooth side panels for snag-free reloads, drop-free design, made in the USA with a lifetime warranty.

Amend2 Priapus Grip
Fiberglass-reinforced polymer with a vertical grip angle built for control on precision and long-range builds specifically — it's a different geometry than the standard A2-style grip angle most AR-15s ship with, meant to keep your wrist straighter behind the trigger when you're set up prone or off a bag. Ribbed front/rear texture holds up wet or gloved. Made in the USA, lifetime warranty.

Unreleased, built on our AMS modular stock platform for the same precision/SPR use case as the rest of this build — length-of-pull and cheek-weld adjustment aimed at exactly this style of shooting. Not on shelves yet — SPR 01 is one of the first places it'll show.
